ams OSRAM is seeking a Senior Principal Engineer - Broadband IC Architect in Cesano Boscone, IT to lead architecture definitions for broadband optical communication ICs and related PHYs. You will define system architectures, drive trade-off analyses, and support advanced development programs across cutting-edge CMOS nodes.

The role requires an MSc/PhD with 15+ years of IC development experience and hands-on experience in TIA, VCSEL drivers, SerDes, PLL/CDR, and ADC/DAC architectures, with

• MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 15+ years semiconductor IC development experience.
• Multiple successful broadband optical communication IC tape-outs in advanced CMOS nodes.
• Broadband optical communication IC and PHY architectures, including high-speed optical links and link-level trade-offs.
