Vertiv is seeking an experienced Pre-Sales Engineering Team Leader for Integrated Solutions in Bologna, Italy. You will lead a multidisciplinary team to develop modular data center designs and coordinate responses to RFQs, translating customer requirements into robust technical solutions.

The role requires engineering leadership, strong communication, and proficiency with CAD and MS Office. Expect travel ~10% and collaboration with global teams within the Metalmeccanico Industria landscape.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in data center design or related fields.
• Strong English communication and ability to work with international teams.

Mansioni

• Lead a multidisciplinary engineering team across architecture, civil, electrical, HVAC and other disciplines during proposal phases.
• Read RFQs and tender documents; translate requirements into technical designs.
• Coordinate technical disciplines and prepare technical documentation for modular data center solutions.
• Review team outputs and ensure alignment with customer needs and standards.
• Engage with customers and suppliers; support sales activities with technical information.
• Travel internationally for meetings, seminars, and trainings (approximately 10%).
