Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Pre-Sales Solution Engineer for the Informatica Pre-Sales Solution Engineering team, covering the South region and extending beyond Italy. You will enable sales with technical demos, RFI/RFP responses, and strategic customer engagements, collaborating with Product, Engineering, and Marketing to position Informatica solutions.

The role demands strong communication, travel up to 50%, and fluency in English and Italian, with a background in data integration and cloud

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Computer Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of presales/technical sales, industry, or consulting experience.
• Basic technical knowledge of hybrid deployment of software solutions, Data Warehousing, Database, and/or BI software.
• Strong communication skills for presentations, storytelling, and Go-To-Market use cases.
• Experience engaging with influencers, coaches, decision makers and partners.
• Ability to travel up to 50% and to work flexible hours.
• Experience in data integration, master data management, data governance preferred.
• Cloud tech knowledge (Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, Azure) preferred.
• Cloud security knowledge desirable.
• Degree or equivalent; experience evaluated on core competencies.
• English and Italian language.

Responsibilities

• Perform all activities leading up to the delivery of a customer demo including discovery, technical qualification/fit, customer presentations, standard demos, and related customer facing communication.
• Respond to Request for Information/Proposal (RFI/RFP) documents.
• Manage customer engagements without support for your assigned accounts and opportunities.
• Collaborate with the wider Salesforce Data Foundations and Core teams, along with Product Management, Engineering, and Product Marketing to improve Informatica’s products, use case positioning and marketing outcomes.
• Share best practices, content, and tips and tricks within your primary areas of responsibility.
• Stay current on certification of services required for your areas of responsibility.
• Partner with the Customer Success team on nurture activities for consumption and adoption support, including technical advisory, workshops, etc.
• Provide customer feedback on product direction.
• Support CxO events, presentations and demos at marketing events without support.
