Centre People Appointments is assisting an international fashion brand in Milan to hire a Senior HR Advisor. The role covers HR operations, employee relations, payroll, benefits, and compliance with Italian employment law in a fast-paced international environment.

Based in Milan with a hybrid schedule, the successful candidate will serve as the local HR expert, supporting managers, payroll processes, and liaising with regional HR teams and external providers.

Competenze

• Degree in HR or related field; professional HR qualification preferred.
• 5+ years' experience in HR generalist or HR operations roles.
• Strong knowledge of Italian employment law, labour regulations, and HR compliance.
• Experience supporting payroll and benefits administration.
• Fluent English and Italian communication skills.

Senior HR Advisor

International Fashion Brand / HR Operations / Milan -

A global Japanese fashion brand is currently recruiting a Senior HR Advisor to join its EMEA HR team in Milan.

The Senior HR Advisor will act as the local HR subject matter expert, supporting employee relations, HR administration, payroll, benefits, and compliance with local employment legislation. The role will serve as a key link between employees, managers, external partners, and regional HR teams.

The ideal candidate should have strong HR operations experience, deep knowledge of Italian employment law, and the ability to support a fast-paced international environment.

Main Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance on Italian employment legislation, labour regulations, and HR compliance matters
• Support employee relations including disciplinary processes, grievances, investigations, and workplace matters

Ideal Candidate

• Degree in HR or related field; professional HR qualification preferred
• 5+ years' experience in HR generalist or HR operations roles
• Strong knowledge of Italian employment law, labour regulations, and HR compliance
• Experience supporting payroll and benefits administration
• Experience working in a multinational environment preferred
• Experience in retail, fashion, apparel, footwear, or cosmetics industries is advantageous
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
• Able to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities
• Fluent English and Italian communication skills

Conditions

Location: Milan, Italy

Working Style: Hybrid (50%)

Salary: €60,000 per annum depending on experience + 10% bonus

Job Type: permanent, full-time
