Job summary

Hitachi Energy Ltd. in Genova, Italy, is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to deliver on-site technical support, installation, commissioning and preventive maintenance for complex Hitachi systems at customer sites.

You will diagnose electrical, mechanical and software issues, train customers, manage spare parts and tools, participate in on-call rotations and travel extensively to support client needs while maintaining high levels of service quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of field service engineering experience, preferably with complex systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair for Hitachi systems at customer locations.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues involving electrical, mechanical, and software components.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and calibration to ensure system reliability and compliance.
