Job summary

Hitachi Energy Italy S.p.A. is seeking a Field Service Engineering Experienced Professional to provide expert technical support and maintenance for complex Hitachi products at customer sites in Genoa and surrounding areas.

You will install, commission, troubleshoot, and repair systems while ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in a related technical field and at least 5 years of field service experience, with strong problem-solving

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in field service engineering.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve intricate technical issues under pressure.
• Expertise in troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and software components.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair Hitachi's advanced systems and equipment at customer locations.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues across electrical, mechanical, and software domains.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and calibration to ensure reliability.
• Provide on-site technical training and guidance to customers.
• Collaborate with engineering, sales, and support teams to resolve escalations.
• Document diagnostics, repairs, parts used, and customer interactions accurately.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction through professionalism and timely service.
• Adhere to safety policies and on-site regulations.
• Manage spare parts inventory and service tools.
• Participate in on-call rotations and travel extensively as required.
