UKA Group is expanding its Italy focus with an opening for a Senior Environmental Specialist to support wind, PV and storage projects in Italy. The role centers on environmental analyses, permitting and stakeholder engagement, with collaboration across development and technical teams.

The ideal candidate holds a MSc in an environmental discipline, 5+ years in EIA processes, strong GIS skills (QGIS/ArcGIS) and fluent Italian and English (C1). Hybrid work in Italy is offered.

Competenze

• MSc or equivalent degree in an environmental discipline.
• At least five years of professional experience in environmental impact approval for onshore wind and PV.
• Experience in acoustics impact assessment is a plus.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office, QGIS and ArcGIS.
• Italian and English language skills at C1 level.
• Willingness to travel.

Mansioni

• Perform environmental analyses for wind and solar PV projects during pre-feasibility or development.
• Prepare and review EIA reports, feasibility studies, landscape reports and related documentation.
• Carry out environmental due diligences for project acquisitions.
• Collaborate with development, electrical, and civil teams and manage subcontractors.
• Conduct site visits to identify environmental issues and mitigation measures.
• Support permitting procedures and monitor regulatory developments.
• Participate in stakeholder engagement, hearings, and meetings with authorities.
