UKA Group, a leading energy park developer, seeks a Senior Environmental Specialist to support its Italy operations from Rome. The role focuses on environmental analyses for wind and solar PV projects, EIA reporting, due diligences, and multi-disciplinary collaboration.

The candidate should hold an MSc in an environmental discipline with at least five years of relevant experience, and be fluent in Italian and English (C1), with willingness to travel.

Competenze

• MSc or equivalent degree in an environmental discipline.
• At least five years of professional experience in environmental approvals.
• Experience with EIA processes for onshore wind and PV plants.
• Acoustics knowledge is a plus.

Mansioni

• Perform environmental analyses for Wind and solar PV projects, including agrivoltaics and associated infrastructure during pre-feasibility or advanced development stages.
• Prepare, supervise and review Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) reports and related documentation.
• Carry out environmental Due Diligences for potential project acquisitions.
• Coordinate with development, electrical and civil teams and subcontractors to meet environmental requirements.
• Conduct site visits to identify environmental issues to address in development.
• Review scopes of work and monitoring activities carried out by third-party consultants.
• Support permitting procedures and monitor regulatory developments affecting environment.
• Participate in stakeholder engagement campaigns, public hearings, and meetings with authorities.
