UKA Group, a leading renewable energy developer, invites a Senior Environmental Specialist to join its Italy office in Rome. You will conduct environmental analyses for wind and PV projects, support permitting and stakeholder engagement.

The ideal candidate has a MSc in environmental disciplines, at least five years of experience with onshore wind and PV approvals, and proficiency in Italian and English (C1). Hybrid work options apply.

Competenze

• MSc or equivalent degree in an environmental discipline.
• At least five years of professional experience in environmental impact approvals for onshore wind and PV plants.
• Experience in acoustics impact assessment and acoustic monitoring is a plus.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office, QGIS, ArcGIS.

Mansioni

• Perform environmental analyses for wind and solar PV projects, including agrivoltaics, during pre-feasibility or advanced development.
• Prepare, supervise and review EIA reports, feasibility studies, landscape reports, appropriate assessments and acoustic studies for regional and/or national procedures.
• Carry out environmental due diligences for potential project acquisitions.
• Collaborate with development, electrical and civil teams and subcontractors to ensure environmental compliance.
• Conduct site visits to identify environmental issues and propose mitigation during development.
• Review scopes of work and monitoring activities by third-party consultants.
• Support permitting procedures and monitor regulatory developments affecting environmental aspects.
• Participate in stakeholder engagement campaigns, public hearings and meetings with authorities.
