UKA – Der Energieparkentwickler invites applications for a Senior Environmental Specialist to support our operations in Italy. You will perform environmental analyses for wind and solar PV projects and oversee EIA documentation throughout pre-feasibility and development stages.

The role requires an MSc in an environmental discipline, 5+ years of experience in onshore wind/PV approvals, and fluency in Italian and English (C1). Willingness to travel and hybrid work options in Italy are expected.

Competenze

• MSc or equivalent degree in an environmental discipline.
• At least five years of professional experience in the environmental impact approval process for onshore wind farms and PV plants.
• Experience in acoustics impact assessment and monitoring is a plus.
• Fluency in Italian and English (C1).
• Willingness to travel.

Mansioni

• Perform environmental analyses for Wind and solar PV projects, including agrivoltaics and associated electrical infrastructure during pre-feasibility or advanced development stages.
• Prepare, supervise and review Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) reports, feasibility studies, landscape reports, appropriate assessment, acoustic studies and related technical documentation for EIA procedures.
• Carry out environmental due diligences for potential project acquisition evaluation.
• Collaborate with development, electrical and civil engineering teams and manage subcontractors to meet environmental requirements.
• Conduct site visits to identify environmental issues and mitigation needs during development.
• Review scopes of work and monitoring activities by third-party consultants.
• Support permitting procedures and monitor regulatory developments affecting environmental aspects.
• Participate in stakeholder engagements, public hearings and meetings with authorities.
