UKA Group, a leading energy park developer, seeks a Senior Environmental Specialist to support its Italy operations. You will lead environmental analyses for wind and PV projects, prepare EIA and related studies, and manage permitting and stakeholder engagements.

The role requires MSc in an environmental field, at least five years of experience in environmental approvals for wind farms and PV plants, and fluency in Italian and English. Some travel and hybrid work in Italy are expected.

Competenze

• MSc or equivalent in an environmental discipline (e.g. Environmental Sciences, Environmental Engineering, Biology, Geology).
• At least five years of professional experience in the environmental impact approval process for onshore wind farms and PV plants.
• Acoustics impact assessment and acoustic monitoring experience is a plus.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office, QGIS and ArcGIS.

Mansioni

• Perform environmental analyses for wind and solar PV projects, including agrivoltaics and associated electrical infrastructure during pre-feasibility or advanced development.
• Prepare, supervise and review EIA reports, feasibility studies, landscape reports, appropriate assessments, acoustic studies and related documentation for EIA procedures.
• Carry out environmental due diligences for potential project acquisitions.
• Collaborate with development, electrical and civil engineering teams and manage subcontractors to meet environmental requirements.
• Conduct site visits to identify issues to address and mitigate during development.
• Review scopes of work and monitoring activities by third-party consultants.
• Support permitting management and monitor regulatory developments impacting environmental aspects.
• Participate in stakeholder engagement campaigns, public hearings and meetings with authorities.
