Job summary

AECOM, Milan, seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical building services design in the Buildings + Places team. You will drive concept through construction, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative and sustainable solutions.

The role requires 5+ years in electrical building services, fluency in Italian and English, and expertise in power, lighting, and fire alarm systems. Offices in Milan offer hybrid flexibility and a strong emphasis on professional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical building services engineering, preferably in a consultancy.
• Fluent in Italian and English.
• Strong technical expertise in power distribution, lighting, fire alarm and building electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of electrical building services from concept to completion.
• Prepare and review engineering calculations, reports, specs and drawings.
• Design and coordinate power distribution, lighting, fire alarm and LV installations.
• Coordinate activities with other disciplines for successful project delivery.
• Mentor junior engineers and support professional development.
• Participate in client meetings and technical reviews; present solutions.
• Support bids, tenders and technical proposals; ensure regulatory compliance.
