Mane Contract Services is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer to join a major data centre project in Milan, Italy. This hands-on leadership role covers electrical design, coordination, installation, commissioning and handover, with mentorship of junior engineers.

The successful candidate will have 7+ years of project engineering experience in data centres or complex construction, strong LV/MV knowledge and a track record of delivering technically robust, compliant solutions.

Competenze

• 3rd level qualification in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
• 7+ years’ project engineering experience, preferably in construction.
• Strong experience with LV and MV electrical systems.
• Proven delivery of data centre, commercial, industrial or pharmaceutical environments.
• Knowledge of BS7671, EN and IEC standards.
• Experience with Amtech, Dialux, AutoCAD 2D, MS Office and Adobe Pro.

• Lead electrical engineering and design management activities throughout the project.
• Review designs, identify gaps, clashes and technical risks.
• Validate cable sizing and electrical solutions.
• Prepare and manage technical submittals and approvals.
• Coordinate equipment procurement, delivery and compliance.
• Collaborate with BIM and construction teams for constructible designs.
• Liaise with clients, vendors and subcontractors to resolve issues.
• Monitor progress against programme and milestones.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning and handover activities.
• Mentor junior engineers and graduates.
