Satispay is seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer for the Core Domain in Monza. You will own design, delivery, and quality of core systems powering transactions, IAM, and payment orchestration, with a hands-on leadership role across squads.

You will scale risk and fraud engines, mentor engineers, and drive secure, reliable, and high-performance cloud-based services using Java and Spring Boot in a fast-moving fintech environment.

Competenze

• 5+ years of backend software engineering experience.
• Proven track record with microservices and cloud environments (AWS a plus) in mission-critical contexts.
• Deep experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and managing external dependencies (banking protocols).
• Fluent in English and passionate about FinTech.

Mansioni

• Design and evolve core platform domains to be high-performing and scalable.
• Scale risk and financial engines including bank integrations, credit risk, and real-time fraud detection.
• Lead cross-team technical analysis and produce high-quality documentation (Smart Papers) for stakeholders.
• Ensure technical quality through rigorous testing strategies and controlled rollouts.
• Mentor and develop junior and mid-level engineers and promote best practices in tooling and methodologies.
• Collaborate with squads across the organization in a fast-moving fintech environment.
