Satispay is seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer in Milano, Italy to own the backbone of our payment platform. You will design, implement, and scale core services across the Transaction Ledger, IAM, and Payment Orchestration while leading technical initiatives and mentoring teammates.

Ideally you bring 5+ years in backend engineering, expertise in Java and Spring Boot, and a passion for scalable distributed systems.

• At least 5 years in back-end software engineering with microservices and cloud experience.
• Deep experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across teams.

Mansioni

• Engineer core platform domains: design and evolve sensitive systems like Transaction Ledger, IAM, and Payment Orchestration.
• Scale risk and financial engines by optimizing services for bank integrations, credit risk, and real-time fraud detection.
• Lead cross-team technical initiatives, produce high-quality documentation for stakeholders.
• Foster engineering excellence through testing strategies and safe rollouts.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers to accelerate delivery.
