Satispay is seeking a Backend Software Engineer II for the Consumer Growth Domain in Milano, Italy. You will design and build scalable backend features to accelerate user activation, loyalty, and monetization across a growth-focused stack.

You’ll own AWS-based infrastructure, explore GenAI-driven capabilities, and collaborate with Product teams to deliver a seamless onboarding and engagement experience for millions of users.

Competenze

• At least 1 year of backend engineering experience building scalable microservices.
• Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot with relational databases (PostgreSQL).
• Good understanding of cloud environments and modern backend architecture.
• Experience or interest in GenAI-driven features and AI tooling.
• Ability to document well and write maintainable code.
• Excellent communication and collaboration in cross-functional teams; fluent in English.

Mansioni

• Contribute to design, development, and release of robust backend features.
• Build high-reliability systems for onboarding, verification, and security flows.
• Develop core services for shop discovery, transactions, and CRM-driven journeys.
• Support loyalty, Plus subscriptions, and referral programs with scalable services.
• Own AWS-based infrastructure and microservice architecture improvements.
• Leverage AI tools to improve coding, debugging, and documentation.
• Write clear technical documentation and participate in code reviews.
