Satispay, Milan-based fintech, seeks a Backend Software Engineer for the Core Team to help build and maintain the backbone of our payment platform. The role focuses on Java and Spring Boot, scalable microservices, and collaboration with product teams in a hybrid setup.

You’ll work on risk and financial engines, data integrity, and engineering quality, while leveraging AI-assisted tooling to accelerate development.

Competenze

• 3+ years of experience as a Backend Engineer.
• Strong Java and Spring Boot expertise.
• Experience with distributed systems and banking APIs.
• Cloud experience (AWS) and relational databases (PostgreSQL).
• Reliability mindset: data integrity and robust business logic.
• Fluent in English and able to communicate clearly.

Mansioni

• Contribute to core platform domains and scale our most sensitive systems (e.g., Ledger, IAM, Payment Orchestration).
• Develop risk & financial engines for bank integrations and real-time fraud detection.
• Collaborate on technical analysis, engage in discussions, and document with Smart Papers.
