Satispay is seeking a Backend Software Engineer III to design, build, and operate key consumer payment services. You will own features from concept to production using Java, Spring Boot, and PostgreSQL, while scaling core functionalities such as BNPL, Gift Cards, and IBAN transfers.

You’ll own reliability, work with AWS-based infrastructure, and collaborate across Product and UX/UI teams to deliver robust, scalable solutions. Fluency in English and 3+ years of backend experience are required.

Competenze

• At least 3 years of experience as a Backend Engineer in fast-paced environments.
• Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot, with cloud exposure (AWS a plus).
• Experience with relational databases and scalable microservices.
• Fluent in English and able to communicate complex ideas clearly.

Mansioni

• Own the end-to-end lifecycle of consumer backend features from design to production.
• Build and scale features like BNPL, Gift Cards, Mobile Top-ups, and Personal IBAN transfers.
• Enhance payments mechanics and ensure scalable backend logic.
• Manage AWS-based infrastructure and drive microservice architecture improvements.
• Collaborate with Product and UX/UI, contribute to code reviews, and lead quality initiatives.
• Investigate production incidents and improve system reliability.
