Seqwater is embarking on a growth phase and seeks a Principal Asset Protection leader to safeguard our water infrastructure. You will guide strategic advice on development and land-use matters and manage third-party works impacting assets.

You will collaborate with councils and state bodies to balance community growth with asset protection, while delivering safe, efficient outcomes aligned to Seqwater priorities.

Competenze

• Degree in Engineering (civil or related field).
• RPEQ accreditation or eligibility.
• 15+ years in design, construction, maintenance or operation of water assets.
• Experience managing third-party impacts on utility assets.
• Strong knowledge of planning legislation and DA assessment processes.
• Demonstrated leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.

• Lead assessment and response to development applications impacting Seqwater’s state interests.
• Oversee management of third-party works affecting Seqwater assets with risk-based supervision.
• Build and maintain relationships with councils and state development bodies.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team through coaching and capability building.
• Translate strategy into operational delivery and drive transformation initiatives.
• Ensure governance, risk management and regulatory compliance.
