Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to own end-to-end delivery of agentic AI solutions for strategic enterprise customers. You will lead technical delivery, mentor peers, and set engineering standards to scale deployments across data pipelines and integrations.

You will design agentic systems on the Agentforce platform, manage data flows with Salesforce Data 360, Snowflake, and Databricks, and travel to customer sites as needed to ensure success.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering or technical delivery experience with end-to-end ownership of scalable production systems in enterprise AI, cloud, or SaaS.
• Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience integrating LLMs into production and using frameworks like LangChain or LlamaIndex.
• Proficient in data modeling, processing, and analytics with experience on platforms like Salesforce Data 360, Snowflake, or Databricks.
• Deep Salesforce platform expertise: Agentforce, Apex, LWC, Flows, and Salesforce APIs.
• Business proficiency in Italian and English.
• Clear, credible communication with engineers, customer architects, and executives.
• Curiosity about evolving AI/data landscape and willingness to pilot new tools and models.
• Ability to travel to customer sites as needed.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and programming skills in Python and Java.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end build and deployment of agentic AI solutions for strategic customers, from architecture decisions to production handoff.
• Design and ship agentic systems on the Agentforce platform: agent logic, tool calls, multi-agent orchestration, guardrails, enterprise-ready integration patterns.
• Manage data lifecycle: model design, data pipelines, data readiness across Salesforce Data 360, Snowflake, Databricks, and customer platforms.
• Resolve blockers in data integration, model deployment, orchestration, and performance.
• Build and maintain agent performance dashboards and KPI reporting across engagements.
• Develop proofs-of-concept and MVPs with sound judgment on what to implement now vs later.
• Codify learnings into reusable playbooks and assets for the org.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews and paired sessions.
• Provide technical depth on critical deployments and surface field insights to Product and Engineering.
• Collaborate with Deployment Strategist to translate complex business challenges into actionable agentic solutions.
• Travel to customer sites as needed to ensure success.
• Contribute to roadmap with field insights that influence product and engineering decisions.
