Job summary

John Zink, part of Koch Engineered Solutions, is seeking a Sales & Application Engineer at our Vimercate office to build the Thermal Oxidiser aftermarket and revamp business across EMEA. You will interact with customers, understand operating challenges, and develop technically sound, commercially competitive solutions.

The role interfaces with sales, process/mechanical engineering, project execution, and field/service teams to move opportunities from identification to order handover.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical/Mechanical/Energy engineering or related discipline.
• Technical understanding of industrial combustion and/or process equipment.
• Ability to interpret PFDs, P&IDs, equipment drawings, process data and technical specifications.
• Experience developing technical proposals or engineered solutions for industrial customers.
• Strong English; Italian language is a plus.
• Willingness to travel within EMEA.

Responsibilities

• Develop Thermal Oxidiser aftermarket and revamp business across EMEA.
• Identify upgrade opportunities within the installed base.
• Engage with end users, EPCs and stakeholders to understand operational problems and investment requirements.
• Support regional Account Managers in developing customer strategies and opportunities.
• Perform customer visits, technical presentations and site discussions.
• Develop opportunities from initial customer engagement through quotation and commercial negotiations.
• Maintain opportunity information and sales activity in CMR system.
