Zeeco designs and manufactures advanced combustion and environmental solutions for industries such as oil & gas, petrochemicals, power, and LNG. For our Italian HQ in Cinisello Balsamo (MI), we are seeking a Jr.Sales & Applications Engineer to join our fantastic team.

The role covers understanding Zeeco products, managing proposals, site visits, and collaborating with engineering and commercial teams to deliver complete, winning offerings.

Qualifications

• Master degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Energy Engineering or related field.
• Fluent in Italian and English.
• Available to travel worldwide for short but frequent trips.
• Business acumen and commercial decision making are necessary to succeed.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes and interprets inquiries to design and specify equipment for the application.
• Travels to customer sites for on-site support and details for proposals.
• Assists with technical development and risk assessment of inquiries.
• Develops cost estimates according to guidelines and writes quotations.
• Sets product pricing using mark-up and commissions.
• Coordinates drawings and handles quotation activities with customers.
• Supports creation and modification of sales presentations and documents.
• Assists/complements commercial discussions with clients.

Zeeco designs and manufactures advanced combustion and environmental solutions for industries such as oil & gas, petrochemicals, power, and LNG. It helps companies reduce emissions, improve operational efficiency, and meet environmental compliance requirements through products like burners, flare systems, and thermal oxidizers. For our italian HQ in Cinisello Balsamo (MI), we are now seeking a Jr.Sales & Applications Engineer to join our fantastic team.

The position will require knowledge of all Zeeco products, with a focus on the Incinerators division products and technical requirements. The position will be responsible for proposal management, and all Zeeco disciplines required, ensuring the most complete offering with the greatest potential for award and contract.

Job Duties

• Analyzes and interprets customer inquiries, including specifications, to design andspecify appropriate equipment for the application.
• Travels to customer's facilities for site support and details needed for technicalreview and proposal generation.
• Assists with technical development and risk assessment of customer inquiries.
• Develops cost estimates according to established guidelines.
• Sets product pricing using mark‑up and commission schedules established bymanagement.
• Determines drawings needed for quotation and coordinates their completion.
• Writes, edits, and issues formal quotations to customer.
• Follow‑up on any written or verbal correspondence with customer during quotation phase.
• Visits with customer's post‑proposal issuance to discuss and negotiate proposal.
• Provide status reports to management on overall proposal status and activities
• Assist with the creation and modification of sales presentations / documents usingMicrosoft Office, Excel / PowerPoint / Publisher / Adobe and all Web based systems.
• Assist/guide commercial discussions with clients
• Works with management to determine updated skills and tools needed to continueimproving performance and knowledge.
• Performs other duties as may be assigned that are appropriate based on skills andexperience

Requirements
