Zeeco, Inc. in Italy (Cinisello Balsamo) is seeking a Jr. Project Engineer to join our team. The role focuses on Thermal Oxidizer products and requires coordination across disciplines to deliver high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities include reviewing orders, coordinating drafting, managing budgets and schedules, and liaising with customers and suppliers. Ideal for recent graduates with engineering degrees and bilingual Italian/English skills.

Competenze

• Fluent in Italian and English (speaking, reading, writing).
• B.S./M.S. in Engineering required; business acumen is a plus.
• Commercial awareness and strong decision making.

• Review Purchase Order and confirm scope of supply based on customer specifications and sales quotation.
• Coordinate drafting activities to ensure all required drawings are completed on time.

Zeeco designs and manufactures advanced combustion and environmental solutions for industries such as oil & gas, petrochemicals, power, and LNG. It helps companies reduce emissions, improve operational efficiency, and meet environmental compliance requirements through products like burners, flare systems, and thermal oxidizers. For our Italian HQ in Cinisello Balsamo (MI), we are now seeking a Jr. Project Engineer to join our fantastic team.

The position will require knowledge of all Zeeco products, with a focus on Thermal Oxidizer division products and relevant technical requirements.

Responsible for all aspects of assigned jobs to assure high quality products are delivered on time, within the assigned budget and satisfying the customer requirements.

Duties include coordinating with the various internal and external disciplines, developing and maintaining the procurement and manufacturing schedule, technical and commercial bid evaluations process with sub suppliers, monitoring the assigned budget and handling technical and commercial correspondence as required.

Job Duties

• Review Purchase Order and confirm scope of supply based on customer specifications and sales quotation.
• Confirm equipment selection and design and perform / coordinate required disciplines.
• Coordinate drafting activities to ensure all required drawings are completed on time. Review customer mark‑ups, clarify the comments and instruct drafting as to disposition.
• Ensure the costs will be within the assigned budget and manage any change with the customer and the suppliers.
• Coordinate the Quality Control Department of customer / job specifications.
• Coordinate all required technical and commercial correspondence related to the job. This includes all internal communications and all correspondence with the Customer, end user, sales reps, and/or outside consultants.
• Coordinate written advice and commercial resolution with Customer concerning any change to the scope of supply.
• Notify Accounting Department when billings are to be sent.
• Perform other related duties as assigned. Some of these duties may include:
• Site or shop trips
• Design activities
• Support to the sales and application engineer

Qualifications

• B.S. degree or Masters Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, etc.)
• Even though the position requires an Engineering qualification or Background, business acumen and commercial sound decision are necessary to success in the role
• Results driven and commitment to perform
• A passion for Engineering and Business
• Must be fluent in Italian and English: speaking, reading, writing

€30,000 - €35,000 a year
