Job summary

Trane Technologies in Trezzano sul Naviglio, Milan, Italy, seeks a qualified RTR Team Leader to oversee statutory finance for three Italian entities and lead the Statutory Reporting team. You will ensure general ledger integrity, local and US GAAP compliance, and drive process improvements within a regional RTR group.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with a minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong experience with financial and tax systems such as Oracle and OneSource.
• Good knowledge of Italian GAAP and US GAAP.
• Proven leadership capability, with the ability to operate effectively as a collaborative team player and trusted business partner.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support two experienced team members based in Trezzano.
• Oversee monthly close activities, ensuring accuracy and integrity of general ledgers and sub-ledgers.
• Ensure compliance with internal control standards and reporting timetables.
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and related accounts.
• Coordinate the preparation of statutory financial statements and audit files.
• Manage statutory audits and ensure timely completion of all required filings.
• Support the tax function and liaise with external tax advisors for timely filings.
• Ensure VAT, Corporate Income Tax, and Transfer Pricing compliance.
• Lead and participate in MDI initiatives, including AI projects and automation.
• Identify, address, and resolve compliance issues; monitor KPIs and drive improvements.
