Job summary

Customs Support Group (CSG) seeks an experienced R2R Team Lead to guide its Italian Record-to-Report operation. You will ensure accurate ledgers, adherence to group policies, and a timely monthly close across Italian entities.

This high-visibility role combines leadership with technical accounting and finance transformation. You will collaborate with senior finance stakeholders across Europe in a fast-paced, ERP-driven environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional experience in audit, accounting, R2R, general ledger accounting, or controllership.
• Big Four or external audit background is strongly preferred.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge across balance sheet, P&L, accruals and reconciliations.
• Experience with month-end close, audit documentation and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and support the Italian R2R team, ensuring ownership and high-quality delivery.
• Coordinate monthly closing across Italian entities with GL specialists and close calendar.
• Coordinate with P2P and O2C to align sub-ledgers and general ledger.
• Escalate complex accounting matters and ensure audit readiness.
• Strengthen controls, documentation, and cross-entity closing topics.
• Drive automation and standardisation of closing workflows using modern R2R tools.
