Job summary

Study Abroad in Rome is seeking a Student Experience Coordinator to support undergraduate study abroad programs. You will provide academic and cultural assistance, organize co-curricular activities, and help with program operations across Europe in collaboration with global teams.

The role focuses on student welfare, event planning, and partnership communications, with emphasis on inclusivity and proactive problem solving in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in higher education, tourism, event planning, or hospitality preferred.
• Proficiency in Italian and English for on-site duties.

Responsibilities

• Support orientation, excursions, and events, including program planning and follow-up.
• Assist staff and faculty with co- and extra-curricular activities.
• Prepare and present pre-arrival student webinars.
• Coordinate program arrivals and welfare checks.
• Assist with program budgets and learning plan consultations.
• Monitor student integration and well-being through regular contact and campus visits.
• Support academic management and course registration processes.
• Contribute to emergency response and incident management per protocol.
• Prepare communications for students and partners.
