Job summary

IFSA (Institute for Study Abroad) seeks two Program Assistants in Rome to coordinate logistics, support students, and ensure smooth programme operations. You will accompany field trips, manage bookings, and communicate with students and faculty to provide comprehensive on-site support during their stay.

Roles include occasional evenings and weekend activities, with emphasis on safety, inclusivity, and effective emergency response.

Qualifications

• One–two years of work experience.
• Enthusiasm for IFSA’s mission and commitments.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to engage with students from diverse backgrounds.
• Calm and professional response to emergencies.
• Good knowledge of Rome.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate logistical, operational and cultural integration tasks for students in Rome.
• Confirm activities and bookings, accompany field trips and site visits.
• Communicate with students and faculty to ensure support during their stay.
• Support day trips and weekends as needed.
• Maintain classrooms and equipment; manage spending logs.
• Assist with emergency response planning and reporting.
