ABB in Italy's Robotics Operations seeks a technical sales support professional to back the proposal process and act as a key technical resource. You will craft technical descriptions of ABB products, estimate costs, and prepare documentation for customer opportunities.

The role requires 3-5 years in sales support or proposal engineering within industrial automation, with fluency in Italian and English and willingness to travel as needed. Hybrid work options are available in Italy.

Competenze

Technical-commercial proposal development experience in robotics and automation.
3-5 years of experience in sales support, proposal engineering, application engineering or industrial automation.
Enhanced knowledge of ABB RobotStudio, Microsoft Office Suite, CRM tools and costing methodologies.
You are passionate about customer focus, negotiation, teamwork and problem solving.
Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering or equivalent technical background.
You are at ease communicating in Italian and English.
Availability for occasional customer visits and business travel.

Mansioni

Support the assigned Sales organization during the proposal process and serve as a key technical resource.
Prepare technical descriptions of ABB products and technology, determine costs, and prepare final documentation.
Develop and maintain new sales opportunities and address customer problems while aiming at orders, NPV, and NPS targets.
Ensure budget goals and profitable growth across all product groups and countries.
