Job summary

Experimental Roma seeks a hands-on Resident Manager to oversee the accommodation operations, including Front Office, Reservations and Housekeeping, ensuring an exceptional guest experience in our new Rome property.

You will lead operational development, coordinate teams, manage standards and drive revenue performance while maintaining cost control and HR practices. Fluent English and Italian are essential, with French a plus.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in hotel operations in a leadership role.
• Strong understanding of Front Office, Reservations and Housekeeping.
• Leadership, autonomy and collaborative spirit.
• Fluent in English and Italian; French or third language is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the hotel's transition into its first phase of operations, establishing routines.
• Ensure rooms and accommodation areas are fully operational and maintained to standard.
• Oversee Front Office, Reservations and Housekeeping to deliver guest experience.
• Coordinate cross-team communication for seamless guest experience.
• Represent the brand with exemplary guest engagement and service.
• Monitor performance metrics and assist pricing, distribution and sales strategies.
• Oversee inventories, purchasing and supplier relationships within scope.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and staff scheduling for accommodation teams.
• Ensure compliance with local labour laws and safety standards.
