Mandarin Oriental, Rome is seeking a Reservations Manager to lead all aspects of the Reservations function, maximise revenue opportunities, and drive operational efficiency within a luxury hotel environment.

You will oversee daily Reservations team operations, manage inventory and distribution, ensure accurate bookings, and collaborate with Revenue Management to achieve revenue targets while maintaining Mandarin Oriental's high service standards.

Competenze

• Experience in a Reservations Manager, Assistant Reservations Manager, Revenue Management, or Rooms Division leadership role within luxury hospitality.
• Strong knowledge of reservation systems, property management systems, distribution channels, and revenue management principles.
• Excellent understanding of inventory management, forecasting, reporting, and revenue optimisation strategies.
• Proven leadership skills with ability to motivate, develop, and inspire high-performing teams.
• Strong analytical and commercial acumen with a results-driven mindset.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across departments.

Mansioni

• Lead day-to-day operations of the Reservations department, ensuring enquiries and bookings are handled promptly and professionally.
• Monitor room inventory, occupancy, rate structures, and availability to maximise revenue opportunities.
• Ensure reservations are processed accurately and entered in hotel systems in a timely manner.
• Manage individual, corporate, leisure, and group reservations per Mandarin Oriental standards.
• Collaborate with Revenue Management to optimise room yield and hit revenue targets.
• Prepare and analyse daily, weekly, monthly reports, forecasts, and market trends.
• Maintain accuracy of rate codes, inventory controls and distribution channels.
• Communicate special guest requests, VIP arrangements, and group requirements across hotel.
• Identify opportunities to improve conversion, efficiency, guest satisfaction, and commercial performance.
• Support promotion of hotel packages, experiences, and services to maximise bookings.
• Collaborate with Sales, Front Office, Housekeeping, Concierge and other departments for seamless guest journeys.
