Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Principal Presales, Consulting Systems Engineer to drive technical pre-sales for advanced networking and security solutions from a remote work setup.

You will engage with sales teams and partners, translate customer challenges into architecture, and deliver compelling demonstrations, PoCs, and proposals that win business while building strong executive relationships.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a technical/pre-sales role.
• Bachelor's and/or master's degree in engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Extensive WAN, Data Center, Security, and Cloud experience.
• Deep Juniper product knowledge and competitive landscape understanding.
• Strong interpersonal skills with executive-level engagement.
• Routing protocols (IGP/EGP) expertise and VPN/EVPN/VXLAN experience.
• MPLS/WAN design experience and large-scale network design.
• Security technologies including NGFW/IPSec/DDoS familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-sales technical consultation in design, engineering, sales and implementation of complex solutions.
• Collaborate with sales and partners to map customer needs to optimal architectures.
• Develop architecture designs, BOMs, and implementation specs for next-generation networks.
• Demonstrate Juniper technologies during technical sales presentations and PoCs.
• Build relationships with IT decision-makers and partner communities.
• Deliver training and support to industry partners and customer engineers.
