Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a People Operations Specialist to support HR operations for an international, fully remote organization based in Italy. You will handle onboarding, employee support, documentation, and background-check coordination with the People Operations Lead guiding workflow and project tasks.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, initiative, and collaboration, with the opportunity to grow in a fast-moving environment and contribute to scalable processes across teams.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of HR or Talent experience with coordination and admin exposure.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage priorities and deadlines.
• Proactive mindset with ownership of routine responsibilities.
• Strong communication and service orientation for employees and colleagues.
• Adaptability to learn new processes and systems.
• Discretion handling confidential information and escalation as needed.
• Experience with HRIS/ATS and basic digital tools is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day employee support, track requests, and escalate when needed.
• Coordinate onboarding with Talent, hiring managers, IT, and stakeholders.
• Process employment verifications accurately and confidentially.
• Administer background checks and elevate findings to decision-makers.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems.
• Draft and maintain routine HR documents under guidance.
• Monitor workflows, deadlines, and identify potential delays.
• Contribute to process improvements and internal guides.
• Collaborate with People, Talent and cross-functional teams.
