Job summary

Phenomenex in Italy seeks an Account Manager on a Fixed-Term contract to serve key accounts in the Southern region. You will provide advanced service, technical support, and product demonstrations to drive sales growth.

Reporting to the District Sales Manager, you’ll travel 10-20% and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet territory goals, develop business plans, and strengthen relationships with decision makers. Fluent Italian and English are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Biology or related Science.
• Ability to analyze and negotiate with customers.
• Strategic planning and resource allocation.
• Advanced knowledge of sales principles and negotiation.
• Good knowledge of Chromatography; 2+ years in sales.
• Fluent Italian and English.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate customer visits for demonstrations and seminars.
• Build relationships beyond buying level with key decision makers.
• Meet sales, gross profit and unit goals in territory.
• Develop business plans and sales strategies with Sales Manager.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams; mentor and train colleagues.
