Job summary

EUROPEAN DYNAMICS is seeking an Operations Support Engineer fluent in English to work remotely within the EU, collaborating with the Development team and the client’s IT group on site for initial assignment.

You will manage system maintenance, incident resolution, and release activities across environments, leveraging ITIL practices, Linux and CI/CD tooling, and observability platforms to ensure security, performance and continuous service.

Qualifications

• University degree in IT or relevant discipline with at least 5 years of IT experience.
• Minimum 3 years in IT operations or application/system support, incl. L2 support.
• Experience with ITIL-aligned processes and change/release management.
• Excellent ITIL knowledge covering Incident, Problem, Change, Release and Event Mgmt.
• Proficiency with ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools.

Responsibilities

• Ensure operational maintenance and continuity after operations entry.
• Provide second-level support for incidents, problems and service requests.
• Monitor system health using observability tools and respond to alerts.
• Coordinate with DevSecOps for deployments and automation improvements.
• Participate in change and release management activities.
• Maintain runbooks, knowledge base articles and handover materials.
• Provide operational support for middleware and integration components.
