Job summary

D-ploy is seeking a skilled IT/OT Support Engineer to join our growing international team in Italy. You will provide onsite technical support for IT/OT systems, including lab equipment, SCADA/PLC, and automation networks, while collaborating with global IT teams to ensure continuity and compliance.

The role requires 5+ years in regulated environments, fluency in English and Italian, and hands-on experience with ITIL processes, ServiceNow/Remedy, and MSSQL.

Qualifications

• 5+ years IT/OT support experience in regulated environments.
• Fluency in English and Italian (both written and spoken).
• Experience with industrial IT systems, SCADA/PLC, and lab software.

Responsibilities

• Onsite IT/OT support including break/fix for thin clients, IPCs, handhelds, and lab equipment.
• Local hands-and-feet support for global IT teams.
• Troubleshooting automation and production systems (PLC, SCADA, OT networks).
• Support for software upgrades, patching, and backups in lab/OT environments.
• Incident, problem, and change management (ITIL-based).
• Compliance with CSV, GxP, and data integrity procedures.
• Participation in disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
