Job summary

D-ploy GmbH is seeking an experienced IT/OT support professional to provide onsite and global IT assistance across regulated environments. The role covers troubleshooting PLC/SCADA, lab software, and network infrastructure while ensuring ITIL-aligned incident and change management.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s in IT/Engineering and at least 5 years of relevant experience, with fluency in English and Italian, and willingness for 24/7 on-call coverage. Local presence in Napoli is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in IT, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years IT/OT support in regulated environments.
• Experience with industrial IT systems, SCADA/PLC, lab software.
• Networking knowledge including VLAN, Firewall, Routing.
• ITIL processes, ServiceNow/Remedy ticketing.
• MSSQL database troubleshooting.
• Willingness for onsite support and 24/7 on-call rotation.
• Fluency in English and Italian (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Onsite IT/OT support for thin clients, IPCs, handhelds, and lab equipment.
• Local hands-on support for global IT teams.
• Troubleshoot automation and production systems (PLC, SCADA, OT networks).
• Assist software upgrades, patching, and backups in lab/OT environments.
• Manage incidents, problems, and changes (ITIL-based).
• Ensure compliance with CSV, GxP, and data integrity procedures.
• Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
