Job summary

Leica Biosystems Inc. in Italy seeks an Application Consultant, Digital Pathology to enable the Digital Pathology commercial team through IT solution architecture and consultative expertise.

You will design IT ecosystems, present AI-enabled diagnostic solutions, and support adoption of Leica’s digital pathology portfolio. You will work with Sales Specialists and Account Managers, influencing stakeholders in pathology and healthcare IT, to drive clinical and operational outcomes while traveling

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific, engineering, informatics, imaging, or healthcare-related discipline.
• Experience in healthcare IT environments and systems integration, including interoperability with LIS using standards such as DICOM and HL7; Salesforce or equivalent CRM.
• Experience in solution selling, technical consulting, applications support, or solution architecture.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales Specialists to achieve growth objectives and advance customer opportunities.
• Lead customer discovery sessions, workflow assessments and solution design workshops; demonstrate Digital Pathology, image analysis and AI-enabled diagnostic solutions.
• Influence stakeholders across pathology, laboratory operations, informatics and healthcare IT.
• Provide pre- and post-sales subject matter expertise by deploying standard tools to identify opportunities and present solutions.
