Job summary

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a Regional Account Manager for Public Local Government in Northern Italy. You will lead complex sales cycles, craft strategic territory plans, and drive deployments of the Next Generation Security Platform.

This remote role supports the public sector across Northern Italy and requires a mix of consultative selling and stakeholder engagement. You will collaborate with internal teams, leverage partner networks, and pursue enterprise-wide deployments while staying

Qualifications

• Experience and knowledge of SaaS-based architectures, ideally in a networking and/or security context.
• Experience within the Public Local Government Market.
• Experience with Purchasing processes in the Public Administration (Public Tenders, Framework Agreements, etc.).
• Experience cultivating relationships with channel partners for a channel-centric GTM approach.
• Ability to lead all aspects of the sales cycle from qualifying to closing in white-space territories.
• Proven track record selling complex solutions.
• Excellent time management with autonomy and self-direction.
• Highly competitive, fast to ramp, and driven to exceed goals.
• Active security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Drive and orchestrate complex sales cycles with internal partners and teams to best serve the customer.
• Build long-standing relationships with prospective customers and executive sponsors via consultative selling.
• Create and implement strategic account plans focused on enterprise-wide deployments.
• Understand the competitive landscape and customer needs to position Palo Alto Networks effectively.
• Generate demand and expand your territory through a programmatic approach.
• Leverage customer stories to articulate value for each account.
• Stay updated on industry trends and travel within territory as needed.
