Job summary

Schneider Electric in Italy seeks a Project Quality Engineer to identify and mitigate product quality risks during development, bridging customer requirements, field issues, and design teams to build quality in from the start.

You will drive DFMEA/PFMEA, CTQ definition, and key quality deliverables, collaborate with R&D and cross-functional teams, and support robust product launches for datacenter cooling solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Engineering.
• 3+ years of relevant experience preferred.
• Experience with quality systems, problem solving, and risk analysis.
• Ability to work on cross-functional project teams and influence at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Bridge customer requirements, field issues, and design teams to address field quality problems.
• Provide quality goals, customer requirements, and lessons learned to project teams.
• Escalate issues affecting customer satisfaction and ensure action closure or mitigation.
• Ensure completion of quality tasks at each stage gate review.
• Collaborate with R&D for DFMEA completion and CTQ definition; track RPN targets.
• Deploy quality deliverables (PFMEA, PQCP, PPEP, CQCP) to projects.
