Job summary

BCD Travel is seeking a Project Manager, Sports for a hybrid role based in Italy. You will work from home most of the time and visit the Florence office for meetings and trainings twice monthly.

You will own client relationships and manage accommodation, travel and transfers per client requests, including hotel contracting, ticketing, transfers, and visa paperwork. Strong English skills and Amadeus knowledge are required.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage client relationships and coordinate accommodation, travel and transfers as per client request.
• Perform hotel contracting and air/rail ticketing for individuals and groups.
• Arrange individual and group hotel stays and catering services.
• Coordinate transfers and manage charter flight services as needed.
• Handle paperwork for obtaining visas as part of project operations.

Project Manager, Sports (Hybrid)

Full time, Temporary, Florence (no more than one to two hour away), Italy

The role is home based. You will work from home most of the time. You will be asked to come to our office in Florence for team meetings and trainings twice monthly (usually on a Thursday). The Project Manager, Sports owns and manages client relationships and manage accommodation, travel and transfers arrangements as per client request.

What You'll Do

• Hotel contracting
• Air and rail ticketing, individual and group
• Individual and group hotel stays
• Catering services (coffee breaks, business lunches, dinners) both in hotel and outside
• Individual and group transfers
• Management of charter flight services
• Support in managing paperwork for obtaining visas

This position is advertised across multiple European locations. The expected annual gross salary ranges by country are as follows:

• Italy: 25,000 - 32,000 EUR

The final salary offered will ultimately depend on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and location, and will be determined in line with internal equity.
