Job summary

BCD Travel seeks a Project Manager, Sports (Hybrid) in Florence, Italy. You will own client relationships and manage accommodation, travel and transfer arrangements per requests. You will split time between home-based work and in-office meetings.

Role requires several years of experience in meetings/events, strong English communication, and proficiency with MS Office and Amadeus GDS. You will travel when needed and support visa paperwork as required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee charter flight arrangements when required.
• Assist with visa paperwork and documentation.

Full time, Temporary, Florence (no more than one to two hour away), Italy

The role is home based. You will work from home most of the time. You will be asked to come to our office in Florence for team meetings and trainings twice monthly (usually on a Thursday).

The Project Manager, Sports owns and manages client relationships and manage accommodation, travel and transfers arrangements as per client request.

What You'll Do

• Air and rail ticketing, individual and group
• Individual and group hotel stays
• Catering services (coffee breaks, business lunches, dinners) both in hotel and outside
• Individual and group transfers
• Management of charter flight services
• Support in managing paperwork for obtaining visas

What You'll Bring

• You have several years of professional experience with organizing meetings and events
• Confident handling of Microsoft-Office products
• Service orientation and aplomb in dealing directly with people
• Team orientation, communication, and cooperation skills, confident and friendly demeanor

This position is advertised across multiple European locations. The expected annual gross salary ranges by country are as follows:

• Italy: 25,000 - 32,000 EUR

The final salary offered will ultimately depend on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and location, and will be determined in line with internal equity.
