Zusammenfassung

CYBEX is seeking a Project Manager Fabric & Apparel to lead end-to-end development from concept to Go-to-Market for apparel products in Milan.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams across Design, Product Management, Development, Sourcing, Quality, and Operations, manage calendars, and drive on-time delivery while ensuring quality, sustainability standards, and cost targets.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in textile or fashion-related field is required.
• Several years in fabric, material, trim development, sourcing or product development.
• Strong knowledge of textile construction, fibers, yarns, knitting, weaving, dyeing, finishing.
• Experience managing fabric mills and suppliers globally.
• Ability to manage calendars, critical paths and apparel manufacturing processes.
• Proven negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with PLM, ERP and material management systems.
• Knowledge of textile testing standards and sustainability certifications.
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills; fluent in English is a plus.

• Support range reviews, development meetings, fittings, and launch readiness activities.
• Lead development and sourcing of fabrics, trims, labels, packaging, and other components.
• Partner with Design and Product Development to implement material solutions.
• Build relationships with mills, suppliers and partners; support negotiations and sourcing efficiency.
• Ensure materials meet quality, testing, compliance and sustainability standards.

Your seat to fill:

• Coordinate the end-to-end apparel product creation process from concept to commercialization, ensuring alignment with timelines, deliverables, and Go-to-Market milestones
• Support the VP Apparel in driving cross-functional collaboration across Design, Product Management, Development, Sourcing, Quality, and Operations
• Track seasonal calendars, critical paths, and project milestones, proactively identifying risks, dependencies, and delays to ensure on-time execution
• Lead project follow-ups, maintain development documentation, and provide regular status updates to internal stakeholders
• Support range reviews, development meetings, fitting sessions, and launch readiness activities throughout the product creation cycle
• Lead the development and sourcing of fabrics, trims, labels, packaging, and other material components, ensuring alignment with product requirements, quality expectations, and cost targets
• Partner closely with Design and Product Development to identify and implement material solutions that support product concepts, functionality, and consumer needs
• Build and maintain strong relationships with fabric mills, suppliers, and development partners, supporting negotiations, material innovation, and sourcing efficiency
• Ensure all materials meet required quality, testing, compliance, and sustainability standards while supporting product integrity and margin objectives
• Act as the key point of contact for fabric development, staying informed on textile innovations, market trends, and sustainable material opportunities

• Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering, Fashion Management, Material Science, Product Development, or a related field
• Several years of professional experience in fabric, material, trim development, sourcing, or product development within the fashion, sportswear, or lifestyle industry
• Strong knowledge of textile construction, fibers, yarns, knitting, weaving, dyeing, printing, washing, and finishing processes
• Experience managing fabric mills, trim suppliers, and global sourcing partners
• Understanding product creation calendars, critical path management, and apparel manufacturing processes
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and timelines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Experience working with PLM, ERP, and material management systems
• Knowledge of textile testing standards, product compliance, and sustainability certifications
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills are preferred
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus
