CYBEX, a global fashion-forward brand, seeks a Lead Apparel Designer in Milano to drive end-to-end design from concept to production readiness. You’ll translate trends and brand DNA into innovative collections, develop silhouettes, and collaborate with Product Management, Sourcing, and Engineering.

You will guide material selection, test fabrics, and build supplier relationships to ensure feasible, production-ready concepts across multiple categories. English fluency is required.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Fashion Design, Product Development, or related field.
• Several years of professional experience in apparel design, product creation, or design management.
• Proven ability to lead design processes from ideation to production readiness.
• Strong understanding of materials, construction, pattern making, and silhouette development.
• Experience with design tools: Illustrator, CLO 3D, Photoshop, PLM systems.
• Experience managing cross-functional design projects and collaboration.
• Strong knowledge of market trends, sustainability in apparel.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to articulate design intent.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Mansioni

• Lead the end-to-end apparel design process, from concept ideation and seasonal direction through to final product realization.
• Translate fashion trends, consumer insights, and CYBEX brand DNA into innovative and commercially relevant collections.
• Develop silhouettes, patterns, color stories, trims, graphics, and other design elements in line with the brand’s creative direction.
• Partner closely with Product Management, Softgoods Engineering, and Sourcing to ensure design concepts are technically feasible.
• Lead material selection, innovation, and testing to support function and design intent.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and mills to identify new materials and sustainable solutions.
• Manage design calendars, deliverables, and milestones across multiple product categories.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration to ensure successful product development and timely delivery.
• Identify and resolve design, material, and production challenges during development.
• Lead trend, market, consumer, and material research; translate into mood boards and concepts.
