Job summary

Greentalent, recruiting for a world-leading company in combustion and environmental systems, seeks an engineering professional to manage complex plant projects in the energy sector in Lombardy. The candidate will oversee design planning, ensure compliance with specifications, and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams.

The ideal candidate holds an engineering degree and has at least two years in EPC or plant engineering, with strong knowledge of Oil & Gas or Chemical disciplines; experience

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Energy.
• At least 2 years of experience in EPC or plant engineering roles.
• Solid knowledge of Oil & Gas/Chemical sectors with focus on design and manufacturing of complex equipment.
• Experience with vapor recovery units, burners, incinerators, or related combustion systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage plant design planning, resources, and objectives.
• Review technical specifications and internal docs; prepare and update contractual technical documentation (P&IDs, datasheets, manuals).
• Collaborate with process engineers and designers to hit quality and timing targets.
• Coordinate with suppliers and external collaborators during engineering and construction phases.
• Interface with the client on technical aspects of the project.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in engineering and has solid experience in similar roles within EPC or plant engineering companies active in the combustion sector or similar fields. The selected candidate, will be responsible for managing projects, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, and maximizing customer satisfaction.

In detail, the candidate will be in charge of:

• Manage the plant design in terms of planning, resources, and objectives;
• Study and evaluate technical specifications and internal documentation, as well as prepare, develop, and update contractual technical documentation (e.g., P&ID, mechanical and instrumental datasheets, spreadsheets, manuals);
• Work with specialists from different disciplines (process engineers, designers) to achieve quality and timing objectives;
• Manage suppliers and external collaborators during the engineering and construction phases;
• Interface with the client for the technical aspects of the project.

Requirements:

• Engineering Degree (Mechanical, Chemical, Energy);
• 2+ years of experience in similar roles;
• Solid knowledge of Oil&Gas/Chemical sector with a focus on design and manufacturing of complex equipment. Specific expertise on vapor recovery units, burners, incinerators, thermal oxidizers, flares, WHR or other combustion systems is a plus;
• Problem solving and business acumen;
