Zeeco, Inc. in Italy (Cinisello Balsamo, MI) seeks a Project Engineer to lead projects in the flare/combustion domain.

You will coordinate internal/external disciplines, maintain procurement and manufacturing schedules, and perform technical/commercial bid evaluations with subvendors. The role requires a Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical engineering background with 1–3 years in oil&gas, strong business sense, and fluency in Italian and English.

Competenze

• B.S. or M.S. in Engineering required, Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical preferred.
• 1–3 years of Project Engineer experience in oil & gas sector.
• Business acumen and commercial decision-making abilities.

Mansioni

• Review Purchase Order and confirm scope of supply per customer specs and quotes.
• Confirm equipment selection and coordinate required disciplines.
• Coordinate drafting to ensure timely drawings; review markings and instruct drafting as needed.
• Ensure costs stay within budget; manage changes with customer and suppliers.
• Coordinate Quality Control per job specifications with the QC department.
• Manage technical and commercial correspondence with customer, end users, reps, and consultants.
• Communicate changes to scope to customer and suppliers; advise on resolutions.
• Notify Accounting when billings are to be issued.

Zeeco designs and manufactures advanced combustion and environmental solutions for industries such as oil & gas, petrochemicals, power, and LNG. It helps companies reduce emissions, improve operational efficiency, and meet environmental compliance requirements through products like burners, flare systems, and thermal oxidizers. For our italian HQ in Cinisello Balsamo (MI), we are now seeking a Project Engineer to join our fantastic team.

The position will require knowledge of all Zeeco products, with a focus on Flares division products and relevant technical requirements.

Responsible for all aspects of assigned jobs to assure high quality products are delivered on time, within the assigned budget and satisfying the customer requirements.

Duties include coordinating with the various internal and external disciplines, develop and maintain the procurement and manufacturing schedule, technical and commercial bid evaluations process with sub vendors, monitoring the assigned budget and handling technical and commercial correspondence as required.

Job Duties

• Review Purchase Order and confirm scope of supply based on customer specifications and sales quotation.
• Confirms equipment selection and design and perform / coordinate required disciplines.
• Coordinates drafting activities to makes sure all required drawings are completed on time. Reviews customer mark-ups, clarify the comments and instructs drafting as to disposition.
• Ensure the costs will be within the assigned budget and manage any change with the customer and the suppliers.
• Coordinate the Quality Control Department of customer / job specifications.
• Coordinates all required technical and commercial correspondence related to the job. This includes all internal communications and all correspondence with the Customer, end user, sales reps, and/or outside consultants.
• Coordinates written advise and commercial resolution with Customer concerning any change to the scope of supply.
• Notifies Accounting Department when billings are to be sent.
• Perform other related duties as assigned. Some of these duties may include:
• Site or shop trips
• Design activities
• Support to the sales and application engineer

Qualifications

• B.S. degree or Masters Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, etc.)
• 1-3 years of experience as a Project Engineer within oil&gas sector
• Even though the position requires an Engineering qualification or Background, business acumen and commercial sound decision are necessary to success in the role
• Results driven and commitment to perform
• A passion for Engineering and Business
• Must be fluent in Italian and English: speaking, reading, writing
