Greentalent, on behalf of a global leader in energy transition, seeks a Plant Layout Engineer – Renewable Gas to join multidisciplinary engineering teams in Milano. You will develop layout for upgrade and retrofit projects, prepare drawings, coordinate with suppliers, and participate in 3D model reviews.

Requirements include 3+ years in plant/layout design for Renewable Gas, a degree in Engineering, fluency in Italian and English (B1+), and strong communication.

Competenze

• 3+ years of experience in plant/layout design for Renewable Gas Plants or equivalent, including structural and mechanical design, piping routing, and equipment/system arrangement.
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering, or technical apprenticeship as a Design Engineer or Plant Construction Engineer.
• Fluency in Italian and English (B1 level or higher).
• Good understanding of 2D and 3D CAD methodology.

Mansioni

• Develop the layout of systems and equipment for upgrade and retrofit proposals as well as execution projects.
• Prepare, update, and check layout plans, including load tables, construction data, steel structures, platforms, ducting, piping, and component drawings.
• Incorporate and check drawings from internal and external suppliers; ensure data exchange with project teams and partners.
• Attend meetings to review 3D models and act as the primary contact for layout-related issues; conduct maintainability, accessibility, and constructability studies.

Plant Layout Engineer – Renewable Gas

The ideal candidate has relevant experience in layout engineering and is able to work effectively within multidisciplinary and structured engineering teams.

They will be involved in both greenfield projects and revamping/retrofit activities worldwide, dealing with a wide range of technologies and processes.

Main responsibilities:

• Develop the layout of systems and equipment for upgrade and retrofit proposals as well as execution projects;
• Prepare, update, and check various plans, including layout, load tables, construction data, steel structures, platforms, ducting, piping, and component drawings;
• Incorporate and check drawings from internal and external suppliers;
• Ensure the exchange of all required layout data with the project team, consortium partners, and engineering service suppliers;
• Attend internal and external meetings as necessary to review 3D models;
• Act as the primary contact person within the project team for all layout-related issues in the assigned area;
• Conduct maintainability, accessibility, and constructability studies in the assigned area.

Requirements:

• Good knowledge of E3D and other engineering tools (Revit, Navisworks, AutoCad);
• 3+ years of experience in plant/layout design for Renewable Gas Plants or equivalent, regarding structural and mechanical design, piping routing, and equipment/system arrangement;
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering, or technical apprenticeship as a Design Engineer or Plant Construction Engineer;
• Good understanding of 2D and 3D CAD methodology;
• Fluency in Italian and English (B1 level or higher);
• Autonomous, solution-driven, with good communication skills.

Salary range: starting from €48,000 gross annual salary, commensurate with experience
