Vertiv Co in Piove di Sacco, Italy is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee production planning, capacity management and budget adherence. You will ensure safety, quality, efficiency and cross-functional collaboration across HR and logistics.

Competenze

High school in a technical field.
3-4 years of experience in a similar position.
English language: intermediate.
Knowledge of production management and the principles of continuous improvement.
Knowledge of IS – including MRP systems.
Knowledge of Lean manufacturing.
Knowledge of MS Office.
Presentation and reporting skills.
Knowledge of effective human resources management.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
High level of safety consciousness and knowledge of local safety standards.

Mansioni

Actively participates in production capacity planning and production plan.
Manages production and monitors the fulfillment of production efficiency, delivery quality, delivery time, safety at work and other indicators.
Actively uses the MRP system - ensures transparency of production and up-to-date information.
Manages human resources in accordance with the production plan and in cooperation with HR.
Prepares action plans and monitors their implementation based on actual performance and strategic plans.
Manages production and related activities to achieve high efficiency and cost management with quality and safety compliance.
Provides internal logistics activities.
Creates the budget and financial plans for the production unit and improvements/investments.
Monitors departmental needs and controls costs.
Ensures a standard working environment and continuous improvement of conditions and employee satisfaction.
Adheres to lean manufacturing elements when implementing new projects or processes.
Manages sorting and repair operations per quality instructions and stakeholder needs.
Develops human resources aligned with division goals and department objectives.
Ensures regular departmental and cross-department communication.
Performs other activities per superior's instructions and follows IMS/ITC trade rules and lean/5S principles.
