Job summary

Baker Hughes is offering an internship in its Product Management Team in Italy. The program is designed for students pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree or recent graduates to gain hands-on experience in evaluating Total Cost of Ownership for industrial equipment across compressor, gas turbine, and steam turbine platforms.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in, or recently graduated with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Eng., Energy Eng., Industrial Eng., Management Eng., Economics, Business Admin, or related fields.
• Interest in energy technologies, industrial equipment, or lifecycle cost analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Fluent in oral and written English.
• Knowledge of Power BI, databases, data analytics, or BI tools is a plus.
• Maintains GPA ≥ 3.0 (or equivalent).
• Eligible to work in the country without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Support development of TCO methodologies and lifecycle cost models.
• Collect, analyze, and validate technical, operational, and commercial data.
• Map cost drivers and define baseline assumptions for products.
• Develop and improve calculation tools using Excel and other digital solutions.
• Support scenario analysis, benchmarking, and data visualization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements.
• Document methodologies, tools, and best practices.
