Job summary

Baker Hughes is offering an internship in Italy for students pursuing a Bachelors’ or Masters’ degree to gain hands-on experience in emissions regulations for industrial gas turbines.

You will research environmental policies across key markets, build a structured database, and collaborate with Product Management, Marketing, Engineering, and Commercial teams to drive insights and growth.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled or recently graduated in a related engineering or economics discipline.
• GPA of 3.0/4.0 or equivalent.
• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with Power BI is a plus.
• Able to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
• Eligible to work without sponsorship in the applying country.

Responsibilities

• Complete internal projects to deliver customer outcomes and identify business improvements.
• Learn internal software to assist with project tasks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and interns to interact with global business leaders.
• Apply HS&E standards and ensure compliance across situations.
• Research and monitor emissions regulations and permitting requirements affecting gas turbines.
