Job summary

Baker Hughes Internship in Product Management offers hands-on experience to students or recent graduates pursuing Bachelors’ or Masters’ degrees. You’ll help develop TCO methodologies for industrial equipment across compressors and turbines and work with engineering, services, and digital teams to derive actionable cost insights.

You will gain exposure to HS&E culture, data analytics, and lifecycle cost analysis while contributing to tool development and scenarios that support product strategy

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently graduated from a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Energy, Industrial Engineering, Management, Economics or related fields.
• Strong interest in energy technologies, product economics, or lifecycle cost analysis.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with Power BI is a plus.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• GPA ≥ 3.0 on 4.0 scale or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Support development of TCO methodologies and lifecycle cost models.
• Collect, analyze, and validate technical, operational, and commercial data.
• Map cost drivers and set baseline assumptions for products and applications.
• Develop and improve calculation tools using Excel and other digital solutions.
• Support scenario analysis, benchmarking, and data visualization.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements and validate assumptions.
